Structure of the Database

In this scheme you have to establish what will be the main groups and families that your business will have. To do this, let's look at the structure of the articles in Ategest:

  • Family Groups: A group is a group of families of similar nature. It will be composed of as many families as the user decides.
  • Families of Articles: Families are groups of articles of a similar nature. In turn, each family must be associated with a particular group.
  • Articles: Each item will be associated with a specific family.

Practical example: In a supermarket we can find ourselves before the group "Wines" which will be made up of families "Red wines""White wines" Y "Rosé wines" and within each family we will find the articles.
